Adverse weather conditions caused disruptions at the Delhi airport in India on Wednesday as four flights were diverted, an official confirmed.
Three SpiceJet flights and one Air India flight were rerouted to Jaipur between 0900 and 1200 hrs (local time) due to the prevailing low visibility caused by dense fog.
The national capital witnessed several areas blanketed in dense fog during Wednesday morning, severely affecting visibility.
The minimum temperature plummeted to 7.8 degrees Celsius, exacerbating the weather conditions. This followed a similar scenario on Tuesday when flight operations were hampered at the Delhi airport due to the thick fog.
The consecutive days of disrupted flight schedules raise concerns among travelers and airport authorities, highlighting the challenges posed by inclement weather during this period in the region.
