United Airlines Teamsters across the country are announcing their intention to rally for stronger contracts in a US nationwide day of action tomorrow.

So far, Teamsters Unions have announced they will picket at airports tomorrow, Friday, October 11, 2024, at these airport hubs:

Los Angeles International Airport (LAX)
Houston Intercontinental Airport (IAH)
San Francisco International Airport (SFO)

The Teamsters aviation technicians have been negotiating with United Airlines for 3 months.

They are demanding an industry-leading contract for higher wages with the airline, as well as better health care benefits and improved safety standards.

There is currently a shortage of qualified aviation maintenance technicians in the airline industry, making the Teamster unions’ demands even more pressing for the airline.
