United Airlines has announced the opening of its latest seasonal hub – the “North Pole” (JOY). United will facilitate the transportation of deserving children and their families to the North Pole through direct “Fantasy Flights” originating from 13 cities worldwide, elevating the holiday spirit to unprecedented levels.
Since the holiday season is always a reason for celebration, and the busiest travel period, United’s Fantasy Flights offer tailored local experiences for pre-selected children and their families, allowing them to board a United aircraft bound for Santa’s hometown to create joyful memories.
Following a brief journey, whether in the air or on the ground, children will arrive at the North Pole – a winter wonderland efficiently crafted by United airport staff and local volunteers, who transform a standard airport gate or maintenance hangar into a dazzling display of twinkling lights, festive Christmas trees, and the presence of Santa himself, accompanied by his elves.
