Salt Lake City is the most affordable U.S. destination for New Year’s Eve 2016. That’s the takeaway of the latest survey from CheapHotels.org, which compared 30 major destinations in the United States based on their lodging cost.

For each of the destinations considered, the survey established the minimum amount an overnight guest will have to spend on December 31, 2016 to stay in the most affordable double room. Only those hotels with at least a 3-star rating and those situated near the city center/beach were taken into consideration.

With a New Year’s Eve rate of only $109 for its most affordable room, Salt Lake City is clearly the cheapest available destination in the country. On the flipside, Miami Beach leads the rankings at a minimum overnight cost of $366. That price exceeds the Utah capital’s rate by more than 200%.

Atlantic City and New York City round out the Top 3 podium at nightly rates of $351 and $349 respectively for their least expensive room. In contrast, with rates well below $150, San Antonio, Louisville, Houston, and Washington, D.C. all fall among the most affordable destinations.
