The New Adina Chermside is a TFE Hotel in Brisbane

Adina Chermside

The new TFE Hotel will be in the heart of one of Brisbane’s most vibrant and fastest-growing suburbs, Chermside.

The hotel, consisting of 148 rooms, will be situated in Chermside, a rapidly developing suburb in Brisbane. It aims to provide guests with a contemporary and conveniently located experience. The hotel will feature various amenities, such as a restaurant open throughout the day, a café/bar, a lobby lounge, a meeting room, a gym, rainwater harvesting capabilities, and on-site parking.

Chermside, designated by the Queensland Government as a primary hub for services beyond the CBD, is rapidly becoming one of Brisbane’s burgeoning suburbs, with an expected population increase of nearly 100% by 2036. Situated only a 20-minute drive north of Brisbane’s city center, it is informally acknowledged as a miniature central business district in the northern suburbs of the city.

Limitless Developments, a company based in South-East Queensland, is the owner of Adina Chermside. The company has a proven track record of successfully delivering a diverse portfolio valued at over $150 million, with an additional $160 million in projects currently in progress. Nick Barr, the owner, has over 25 years of personal experience in Brisbane and is not only passionate about progress but also actively supports and fundraises for the local communities in which he builds. This year, Nick is participating in the Chain Reaction Challenge, a 1000km cycling event, to raise funds for The Prince Charles Hospital Foundation and the Common Good.

Chermside is a significant center for health and medical services. It houses the Prince Charles Hospital precinct, which caters to the medical needs of not just Brisbane but also the wider population of Queensland. The Prince Charles Hospital, located next to the Adina Chermside site, is part of the Queensland Capacity Expansion Program initiated by the State Government. Starting in December 2024, the hospital will undergo a $300 million expansion. This expansion will include the addition of 93 beds and a four-story extension to the existing building, scheduled to be completed by 2028.

Chermside boasts the presence of Westfield Chermside, which stands as one of the biggest shopping centers in the nation. This retail haven, constructed in 1957, continues to captivate shopaholics just as much as it did upon its highly anticipated grand opening.

The place benefits from convenient public transportation options and, in addition to the bustling Gympie Road, presents a wide selection of shops and stores for exploration. In the local vicinity, visitors can make the most of an extensive collection of parklands along the scenic Downfall Creek. These parklands are interconnected by a network of biking trails and pedestrian paths, allowing individuals to leisurely explore different areas. Meanwhile, the greater Brisbane area maintains an outstanding reputation for its vibrant dining and cultural offerings.

Adina Chermside is one of 40 hotels across Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, and Europe, including the Adina Apartment Hotel Anzac Square and Adina Apartment Hotel Brisbane located in the heart of the CBD.

The hotel is supposed to open in 2025.
