NEW YORK, New York – Due to inclement weather forecasted to impact the Gulf of Mexico, JetBlue Airways will waive change fees and fare differences to allow customers booked for travel to or from New Orleans between Saturday, September 3 and Monday, September 5 to voluntarily rebook their travel plans.

Customers may rebook for new flights – between the same cities – that depart anytime through Wednesday, September 7, 2011, by calling 1-800-JETBLUE (538-2583). Changes must be made prior to the customer’s originally scheduled departure.

All customers booked for travel to/from the Gulf Coast area are encouraged to check the status of their flight online at www.jetblue.com prior to leaving for the airport. Customers with web-enabled cell phones and PDAs may check the status of their flight via mobile.jetblue.com .
