The CEO of the Seychelles Tourism Board, Alain St.Ange, has just released his 4th book on Seychelles, the unique tropical islands in the middle of the Indian Ocean. “Seychelles, The 2010 Regatta” is his latest book, which has been printed in France and registered under Australia’s ISBN Number 978-0-646-54293-5.

The book is published with the support of Seychelles 2010 Regatta photographers Gerard Cazade and Pascal Jaffredou and by the Regatta organizer and promoter, Regis Elhaouel, who also wrote the foreword in the book.

Alain St.Ange writes on the book’s 2nd page that: “The book is dedicated to all those who believe in Seychelles… in what we are, and in what we have.”

In the Preface of the book, Alain St.Ange writes that the Seychelles Regatta 2010 was a wonderful opportunity for Seychelles to showcase the many attributes of these tropical Creole Islands.

The Book “Seychelles, The 2010 Regatta” is a coffee-table book with unique pictures of the Seychelles Sailing Regatta of 2010. The author allows the beauty of the Seychelles to speak for themselves, making this book an entertaining pictorial book that follows a regatta where international renowned sailors – Michel Desjoyaux, Armel Le Cleac’h. Samantha Davies, Yann Elies, Romain Attanasio, Servane Escoffier, Jeremie Beyou, and many others – participated alongside Seychellois friends of the sea.

Alain St.Ange said that the book is published to place on record, through pictures taken during the race, the atmosphere and breathtaking views experienced during this unique race. “Pictures speak a thousand words,” St.Ange said, “And what better way than to let these magnificient pictures do the talking about the Seychelles Regatta 2010.”

Alain St.Ange is also the author of political history books “Seychelles, What Next?” published in 1991 and “Seychelles, The Cry of A People” published in 2007. He is also the co-author of the Constitutional & Political History Book “Seychelles, In Search of Democracy” published with Bernard Georges in 2005.
