This is also terrible news for airlines including Turkish Airlines, Qatar Airways, Emirates, and Etihad, since the red list rules also apply to passengers transiting in one of the red list countries. The home airport hub for these major network airlines are all in red listed countries.

Today’s news triggered US Travel, WTTC, and others to become concerned.
