Swaziland’s brightly-colored traditional costumes and one-of-a-kind performance will not come unnoticed in the 2015 Carnaval International de Victoria parade.

Many African countries have been faithful participants at the Seychelles Carnaval International de Victoria, and this year new countries, which includes Swaziland and Cote D’Ivoire have joined Zambia, South Africa with Cape Town & KwaZula Natal delegations, Kenya, Magadascar, and Mauritius to parade alongside the best and most famous carnivals from the World of Carnivals. They will all be in Seychelles and on Saturday afternoon to jam the streets of Victoria with their participation.

With a 12-member delegation, the Swaziland cultural group promises in this edition a vibrant display showcasing different regions of Swaziland.

Cindy Chiwala Chileske, overseeing the delegation, said this year the “group is coming out in full force.”

The biggest Swaziland delegation arrived in Seychelles on Wednesday, April 24, with the Kingdom’s Princess Sikhanyiso leading her country’s delegation.

Seychelles is a founding member of the International Coalition of Tourism Partners (ICTP) .
