STARLUX Airlines already operates in Los Angeles and San Francisco, making Seattle its third gateway in the United States.

STARLUX Airlines, a luxury carrier based in Taiwan, has announced its plans to enhance its presence in the United States by introducing nonstop flights between Seattle and Taipei. The new route, scheduled to commence on August 16, will provide direct access for American travelers to Taipei and convenient connections to 21 destinations across Asia. STARLUX Airlines already operates in Los Angeles and San Francisco, making Seattle its third gateway in the United States. Moreover, Seattle-Tacoma International Airport serves as a hub for STARLUX’s partner, Alaska Airlines, facilitating seamless transfers for passengers heading to Asia upon their arrival at the airport.

STARLUX’s expanded trans-Pacific routes demonstrate our commitment to growing our U.S. network and enhancing the travel experience for our rapidly expanding customer base, stated STARLUX CEO Glenn Chai. Seattle, being a significant economic and technological center, is enriched with diverse cultural influences and is home to a thriving Asian community. Additionally, we are delighted to have reached the hub of our partner, Alaska Airlines. We are confident that STARLUX and Alaska Airlines will seamlessly serve travelers looking to travel to Asia. STARLUX eagerly anticipates strengthening the connections between these major West Coast cities and Taipei, as well as fostering connections between these vibrant and dynamic regions.

STARLUX will use their advanced Airbus A350 for the Seattle-Taipei flights, offering passengers a variety of choices with its four cabins: First (4 seats), business class (26 seats), premium economy (36 seats), and economy (240 seats). This allows travelers to select their preferred option for the 6,000+ mile journey.
