SKÅL International Thailand has announced the appointment of travel specialist Ms. Ingeborg Fallet Kristensen as its new President of SKÅL International Krabi.
A Norwegian national and a highly respected tourism professional, Ingeborg is the Founder and Managing Director of Krabi travel specialist ‘Krabi Spesialisten’ which is now celebrating its 20th Anniversary as a leading provider of custom-designed tours to Southern Thailand, including eco sustainable tours, private island-hopping tours and mountain hiking. She is also the founder of ‘Wedding in Thailand’ a company providing bespoke weddings and events in Krabi, Phuket and other locations in Southern Thailand.
Ingeborg has been living and working in Thailand for 27 years. She studied Hotel and Tourism at SSTH Swiss School of Tourism and Hospitality, Chur/Passug, Switzerland and began her career at the Sheraton Grande Laguna Phuket where she worked for 4 years before moving to Krabi. She managed a boutique hotel in Ao Nang from 2000-2003 before setting up her own company ‘ Krabi Spesialisten’ in 2003.
Ingeborg is also on the Board of Governors of the Thai Norwegian Chamber of Commerce.
She is also the recipient of the IWTA Inspiring Woman in Travel Asia Award 2024 – Judges Choice Award.
