President James Michel has announced that in line with Article 52A (2) of the Constitution of the Republic of Seychelles, he declares his intention to call the Presidential Election.
He made the announcement this evening during a national broadcast on the Seychelles Broadcasting Corporation television.
The President said that the proclamation would be published in the Official Gazette tomorrow, October 2, and that the Electoral Commission would decide the date of the election.
