Earthquake Hit Tajikistan – Afghanistan Border Region

A magnitude 4.6 earthquake occurred on the territory of TajikistanAfghanistan border at 16:23 UTC on September 17. This information was reported by the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS). The source of the earthquake is located 36 km from the village of Karakenja. According to the data provided by USGS, the earthquake originated at 37.9 km depth.
As per USGS Report, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Afghanistan, and Kyrgyzstan were affected by the earthquake.

No damage has been reported.
