The Airbus Lifecycle Services Center is a collaboration between Airbus, Tarmac Aerosave, the city of Chengdu, and Airbus company Satair. Tarmac Aerosave has over 15 years of experience in efficient aircraft storage, dismantling, and recycling. In the same center, Airbus company Satair will handle the acquisition, trade, and distribution of used aircraft parts, providing comprehensive lifecycle services. Starting from now until 2025, the center will gradually increase its operations and employ a maximum of 150 staff members. The primary structures at the site have been certified by LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design), marking an initial effort to minimize the environmental effects of operations at the ALSC facility.
