The Dreamliner has officially taken over all service between Beijing and Singapore for Air China airline.
Last year, China contributed the largest share of tourism receipts and second largest share of visitor arrivals to Singapore.
Chinese visitor arrivals continue to grow this year, with about 1.9 million recorded from January to July, a year-on-year increase of 7 percent. Those traveling to Singapore as a single destination grew 15 percent.
The Boeing 787-9 is replacing the A330-300 aircraft for these flights.
