Two female militants are trapped in a building, following an attack on police in Istanbul, Turkey – according to Internet Haber. It’s not a neighborhood frequented by tourists.
Currently these two female terrorists threw two grenades at the police station, a local NTV broadcaster reported.
The terror operation is in Bayrampaşa. It’s a suburban district of Istanbul, Turkey, on the European side of the city. The district comprises both working class residential and industrial areas. The population is 240,000, and the district covers an area of 8 km.
A gun battle followed, with the attackers now trapped inside the building.
The building, in the Bayrampasa district, is currently surrounded by Turkish police, with security forces preparing to storm the police station.
