The Airtel Music Awards Seychelles in collaboration with Seychelles Breweries Ltd. and Music Awards Seychelles is pleased to announce the grand finals of the awards on March 28, 2015. This will be held at the International Conference Centre of the Seychelles (ICCS).
We have the pleasure and privilege to announce to Seychelles that Mampi will be the guest artist at the Grand Finals. All the way from Zambia, Mampi is well-known for her popular song in the Seychelles, “Walilowelela.”
She will perform live with the Zenith band during the ceremony and play back track at the after party at Tequila Boom; the band will also be backing the local artist performing that night.
The presence of Mampi in the awards will enhance the international exposure of the awards and most importantly be used as an inspiration for local artists to look upon.
During her stay in Seychelles, she will meet and engage with the local artists as well as officials of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism.
Furthermore, she will participate in selected Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities organized by Airtel Seychelles and Seychelles Breweries in the country.
Preparations for these various activities together with the grand finale are ongoing, and the SMS voting for the people’s choice will start in the immediate future.
We are calling on all the press and the members of the public to support this third edition of the awards ceremony towards making it a great success with the anticipation to surpass previous standards.
