VisitMalta will be featured at the IPF (International Powerlifting Federation) World Bench Press Championships May 21- June 1, in Austin Texas.

This is part of VisitMalta’s two-year agreement as IDF’s Official Destination Partner.

Nearly 1000 of the strongest female and male athletes, participants ranging from 14 to 80+ years of age, from 60+ countries will gather for the World Bench Press Championships to determine who has the strongest bench press in the world!

The event will be directed by Powerlifting America and the IPF. Visit Austin and Eleiko USA have also signed on to direct and support this prestigious event.

Carlo Micallef, CEO, Malta Tourism Authority, noted, “This campaign is part of VisitMalta’s strategy to promote Destination Malta and the brand VisitMalta to the enormous sporting events’ fan bases worldwide, in the event itself, on social media, and especially those events like the IPF Powerlifting competitions that are given extensive television exposure.”

It will appear on CBS Sports, plus 4 International TV Stations and 3 Regional TV Stations, from 6-7 pm Local Time (7-8 pm New York Time). The VisitMalta partnership will be promoted during 5 CBS TV Spots and on 30 Digital Billboards.
