A helicopter crashed in the Turkey’s eastern province of Tunceli on Tuesday, killing all twelve people on board, the local governor’s office said.
The officials are blaming the crash of police Sikorsky S-70 Black Hawk on poor weather conditions.
The helicopter was carrying a judge, seven police officers, one sergeant and three crew members, the Tunceli governor’s office said.
Heavy fog in the region made the rescue operation for the crashed helicopter difficult, Turkish media reports said.
