His Excellency Moses Vilakati, Minister of Tourism and Environment for the Kingdom of Eswatini, told fellow members of the World Tourism Network on Friday that he is pleased as a minister to have both sectors under the same roof. “Tourism is really resilient. We will attract people once they can travel again, because people love to travel.”
“Eswatini is a country with people that have a big heart,” he said. It helps the south African kingdom to master the biggest crisis its tourism and economy has ever faced – COVID-19.
Currently, the subjects in Eswatini again explore their own beautiful country, which will help so much to reopen to international tourism when ready. “I now understand our country better,” the Minister said.
“When I joined the African Tourism Board, I met so many people to share my experience with. So many leaders in Africa and in the tourism world are working together.”
