Skål International made the following announcement today:
Dear Skålleagues,
We would like to inform you that by the established deadline, the Skål International General Secretariat received one bid to host the 2026 Skål International World Congress from Skål International Nelson Mandela Bay (South Africa).
The proposal, having met all the requirements, was accepted by the Skål International Executive Board on 18 July 2024.
The electronic vote, along with the bid information and rates, will be sent to Skål International Clubs’ voting delegates for approval on the same ballot as the elections of officers within two weeks prior to the date of the Annual General Assembly, and the result will be announced at the Annual General Assembly to be held in Izmir, Türkiye, on 18 October 2024.
