Aeromexico will facilitate approximately 140 weekly arrivals and departures in Florida, providing up to 24,500 seats each week.

Aeromexico, in collaboration with Delta Air Lines, is set to launch a daily nonstop service between Cancun International Airport (CUN) and Miami International Airport (MIA) beginning December 19. This new route will enhance Aeromexico’s existing operations to Miami, where it currently provides five daily flights from Mexico City.

Furthermore, this service will mark the airline’s fourth route within Florida, complementing its Mexico City connections to Orlando and Tampa Bay.

Aeromexico will facilitate approximately 140 weekly arrivals and departures in Florida, providing up to 24,500 seats each week.

Aeromexico will utilize Boeing 737 MAX-8 aircraft for its flights, accommodating a total of 166 passengers. The seating arrangement includes 16 in the Premier Cabin, 18 in AM Plus, and 132 in the Main Cabin. This advanced aircraft model features a state-of-the-art winglet system designed to enhance aerodynamic efficiency, thereby lowering fuel consumption and reducing emissions.

The introduction of this new route to the United States has been made feasible through the Joint Cooperation Agreement (JCA) with Delta, which enhances connectivity between the two nations. With the commencement of the Cancun – Miami route, the collaboration between Aeromexico and Delta will facilitate service on over 65 routes connecting Mexico and the United States, with more than 180 daily flights, thereby providing a total of 31,000 available seats each day.
