Visit USA by WTN is the latest initiative by the World Tourism Network in response to potential international visitors canceling their planned travel to the United States due to fear. WTN is inviting US travel and tourism destinations and their stakeholders, such as DMCs, hotels and resorts, airlines, etc., to join this initiative.
Numerous countries issued travel advisories to their citizens wanting to visit the United States due to strict enforcement of immigration rules, also for visitors on entering the United States on the visa-waiver agreement.
American Travelers are increasingly worried about traveling internationally due to fast-moving political changes in their country, a snowball effect from appearing to not wanting to welcome foreign tourists. This goes beyond geopolitics and is a situation a private initiative wants to step in and make a difference, understanding tourism is big business for so many.
How can Tourism Security be turned into a money-making proposition?
WTN President Rabbi Dr. Peter Tarlow’s goal is to train more US Law Enforcement and Immigration Officers to greet visitors with a smile. Dr. Tarlow has trained thousands of law enforcement officers, including tourism police and US Immigration Officers, on tourism sensitivity.

Tourism Export is a significant part of the US economy, says WTN Chairman Juergen Steinmetz, who had served on the U.S. Department of Commerce Export Council in Honolulu, assisting with increasing tourism export for Hawaii, Guam, and the Northern Mariana Islands.
The U.S. Global Entry program is currently available to citizens from Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Bahrain, Colombia, Croatia, Dominican Republic, India, Japan, Germany, Mexico, Netherlands, Panama, Singapore, South Korea, Switzerland, Taiwan, UAE, UK. Sponsoring visitors to utilize this program will eliminate the need of questioning and gets them access to the U.S. within minutes after landing. Visit USA WTN leaders suggest for US tourism stakeholders to communicate this to frequent visitors. It would ease the often stressful and lengthy immigration formalities.
