Emirates has increased its services to Brazil and Argentina, which will enhance connectivity for passengers traveling between these countries and other popular destinations in Emirates’ network. These destinations include the UAE, Japan, Thailand, Maldives, Egypt, mainland China, Hong Kong, Turkey, South Korea, India, Australia, and Indonesia. Emirates frequently serves customers traveling to and from Beirut, as Brazil and Argentina are home to the two largest Lebanese communities in Latin America. Additionally, nationals of Brazil and Argentina can visit Dubai without a visa, making it a popular choice for vacations and short layovers.

Top markets for inbound tourism into Brazil and Argentina are mainland China (PRC), Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan, Australia, and the United Arab Emirates.

The extra weekly flight is anticipated to enhance trade among Argentina, Brazil, and other global nations. With a cargo capacity of approximately 20 tons per flight, each Boeing 777 wide-body plane will facilitate the transportation of regional exports from Argentina and Brazil to consumers in the Middle East, Europe, and other markets. Additionally, it will support the importation of vital commodities, such as pharmaceuticals.

Emirates has established codeshare alliances with GOL Airlines and Azul Airlines, as well as interline partnerships with LATAM Airlines and Aerolineas Argentinas. These partnerships enable Emirates customers to travel beyond Rio de Janeiro to various domestic destinations, including Brasilia, Porto Alegre, Salvador, Curitiba, Recife, Santiago, and Panama City. Moreover, Skywards members can earn and use their Skywards Miles on codeshare flights within Brazil and South America.
