Colombo – The latest operator to enter the booming tourism industry in post-war Sri Lanka is the Louis Cruises of India with a cruise from Kochi, India to Colombo.

Colombo – The latest operator to enter the booming tourism industry in post-war Sri Lanka is the Louis Cruises of India with a cruise from Kochi, India to Colombo.

Louis Cruises of India, a part of the worldwide tour operator Louis Cruises Group began operations with its luxury cruise liner, MV Aquamarine from its home port in Kochi yesterday to destinations in Sri Lanka and Maldives.

Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau is to sign a deal next week with the Indian tour operator to start tours to Colombo from December 07, 2009.

The cruise line is offering three nights/four day cruise to Colombo from the southern Indian port of Kochi once a week starting from Dec 6th. Louis cruise ship MV Aquamarine has a capacity of 1200 guests.
