Hong Kong Airlines is the sole local carrier offering direct flights on this particular route.

Hong Kong Airlines announced that it will be reintroducing its exclusive direct route to Saipan, providing its customers with the convenience of nonstop flights. The airline will operate two weekly flights between Hong Kong and Saipan International Airports, utilizing Airbus A330 aircraft. This reinstatement of the route solidifies Hong Kong Airlines as the sole local carrier offering direct flights on this particular route.

The Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands (CNMI) consists of 14 tropical islands, with Saipan as the capital and the largest island. Saipan is famous for its constant sunshine, clear waters, and a variety of water sports. It is known for its diving spots and natural limestone caves, including the Blue Grotto. Managaha Island, located on the west side, has beautiful white sandy beaches and is often called ‘Lover’s Island’. Banzai Cliff at the northern tip has a significant historical background and offers breathtaking views of the sky and sea.

Hong Kong Airlines has been providing passengers with increased travel choices to tropical islands since the start of the Saipan route in 2016. The company is pleased to announce the resumption of operations on this route, which was temporarily suspended in late 2019. By reintroducing flights to Saipan, Hong Kong Airlines will further grow its network in the Asia-Pacific area, offering passengers an expanded selection of travel options and strengthening Hong Kong’s role as a key international aviation hub.

The flight schedule between Hong Kong and Saipan is as follows (All times local):
