Bus plunges into gorge, killing 44 in India

Police and government officials say 44 people have been killed after a bus swerved off a mountain road and plunged into a deep gorge in northern India’s Himachal Pradesh state.

According to the officials, two people survived late Wednesday morning crash.

The bus fell into a 200-meter deep gorge on the Tons river.
