Not Starbucks but Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf is now in Maldives

Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf,  a stiff competitor to Starbucks adds a new country to its portfolio. The coffee chain will now open in the Indian Ocean Island Republic Maldives.

This expansion comes as The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf is actively expanding its international footprint.

Many of those traveling to Maldives through Colombo, Sri Lanka, will no longer have to rush to get a last double espresso in the transit hall of the airport.

Through a Master Franchise agreement with Waterscape Investments Pvt. Ltd., a well-established leader in the Maldivian hospitality and travel industry, The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf will establish cafes across the archipelago from Q3 2024, offering locals and tourists alike a taste of its distinctive coffee and tea offerings.
