Seychelles sends message of support to India

Following the terrorist bomb attacks in Mumbai yesterday, Seychelles President James Michel has sent a letter of condolences to the President Prathiba Patil of the Republic of India.

Following the terrorist bomb attacks in Mumbai yesterday, Seychelles President James Michel has sent a letter of condolences to the President Prathiba Patil of the Republic of India.

President Michel has expressed, on behalf of the people and government of Seychelles, his heartfelt sympathies at the news of the attacks and the devastating aftermath incurred.

“It is with profound sadness that we have learnt of the three bomb attacks in Mumbai India, which has resulted in the loss of many innocent lives, countless injured persons, and causing extensive damage. … The Republic of Seychelles strongly condemns these acts of aggression.”

The President has conveyed to the people and government of India the solidarity of the Seychellois people during this time of national grief.
