AGCC, EU to sign tourism pacts

MUSCAT — The first phase of the tourism sector sponsorship agreement will be signed today on the Tourism Ministry premises, as part of the Gulf Chambers Union’s endeavour to attract direct European investment under an MoU signed between the Gulf and the European chambers in November.

MUSCAT — The first phase of the tourism sector sponsorship agreement will be signed today on the Tourism Ministry premises, as part of the Gulf Chambers Union’s endeavour to attract direct European investment under an MoU signed between the Gulf and the European chambers in November.

Mohammed bin Hamoud Al Toobi, undersecretary of the Tourism Ministry, will sign the agreement on behalf of the Tourism Ministry and Abdullah bin Rajab Al Balushi, CEO of Daleel Company, will sign on behalf of the Gulf Chambers Union. The Golden Book of the Sultanate of Oman titled Business Gate of the AGCC Countries will be published during the first phase of the agreement to attract direct European investment under the free trade agreement between the AGCC and the EU. The project is aimed at creating economic integration among the AGCC states to boost their competitiveness in global markets.
