U.S. and Netherlands announce Fast Low-Risk Universal Crossing program

WASHINGTON – Today, U.S.

WASHINGTON – Today, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) announced that travelers interested in applying to the Global Entry and Privium Trusted Traveler programs may do so at one of five “one-stop-shop” joint enrollment centers established as a pilot initiative in the United States and the Netherlands through the Fast Low-Risk Universal Crossing (FLUX) program.

FLUX is a partnership, between the governments of the U.S. and the Netherlands that helps expedite international travel by establishing an automated border passage program for pre-approved, low-risk travelers. During this pilot enrollment period, U.S. and Dutch citizens over 14 years of age who are in possession of a valid machine-readable passport and who consent to a background screening can join Global Entry and Privium through the FLUX enrollment program.

Global Entry is an automated entry program already available at 20 major airports in the U.S and the Privium program allows fast border passage at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol.

The temporary joint enrollment centers will permit U.S. and Dutch citizens, who have applied to Global Entry and Privium as part of the FLUX arrangement to complete their Privium interview with an officer of the Royal Dutch Marechaussee and their Global Entry interview with a CBP officer at the locations listed below. Previously, joint enrollment opportunities were only available at Schiphol Airport in Amsterdam.
