The country’s travel and tourism sector, buoyed by an unprecedented boom in holiday travels, will be one of the many highlights of the Salalah Tourism Festival.

The country’s travel and tourism sector, buoyed by an unprecedented boom in holiday travels, will be one of the many highlights of the Salalah Tourism Festival.

A great number of travel operators & organizations from across the country & abroad will showcase their products & services from July 19 – 25 at the Municipality Fair Ground alongside the Salalah Tourism Festival.

Organized by Oman International Trade and Exhibitions (OITE), the country’s premier events and exhibitions organizer, the travel show will provide an interactive platform for both, companies in the travel and tourism sector as well as travel enthusiasts.

‘It’s time for Oman’s travel & tourism industry to further boost its prominent role in making the country one of the world’s best travel destinations, significantly creating employment, enhancing business opportunities & the country’s economic condition at large,’ said Mr. Atif Khan, Manager – Exhibitions of OITE’s Travel Show.

The travel and tourism show with participation from tourism organizations, tour operators, agencies, hotel groups, destination management companies, airlines and business travel agents, will attract potential and seasoned travelers seeking travel tips and eager to explore exotic destinations. ‘The travel show will help strengthen the foundation for an even better and vibrant tourism driven economy in years to come’, Mr. Khan added.

As an integral part of the government’s modernization program, the travel and tourism sector aims to promote national tourism awareness through natural and pristine attractions in the Dhofar region, across the country and the world over. Travel enthusiasts and key travel decision makers will discover better travel insights, onsite bookings and special travel packages and discounts during the weeklong event.

The Tourism Show is part of the Travel, Property and Investment Show scheduled to be held under the umbrella of the Salalah Tourism Festival from July 19 – 25.
