Seychelles LGBT Chair meets Prime Minister of Malta

The Chairperson of the LGBT Seychelles, Fabianna Bonne, got the opportunity to meet Prime Minister Joseph Muscat of Malta, who is a strong supporter of LGBTI rights. Fabianna was in London participating in the Commonwealth Forums, which are taking place alongside the Commonwealth Head of Government Meeting. Malta is a country that has made remarkable progress on the issue of recognition of the LGBT Community in a very short period of time, largely due to the leadership of Prime Minister Muscat.

Although Malta is a largely religious and catholic country, progress has been possible due to thoughtful and strong leadership alongside a climate of tolerance and mutual respect.

The LGBT community remains a very important group and they play their part for the consolidation of the tourism industry. Tourism for All without any discrimination remains a battle cry for the World of Tourism.
