Saudia Group has announced the launch of the Saudia Hajj and Umrah, a subsidiary dedicated to enhancing the pilgrims’ experience.

This marks the Group’s thirteenth addition to its cohesive network of subsidiaries within the aviation sector. The announcement took place at the third Hajj and Umrah Services Conference and Exhibition held from January 8-11 at the Jeddah Superdome.

Saudia Hajj and Umrah will strategically focus on expanding operations, services, and products for pilgrims from across the globe. Initiatives include expanding the frequency of flights and seat capacity on all Saudia flights, including Hajj and Umrah flights, and a comprehensive project to modernize and develop the aircraft fleet.

The digital platform, https://umrahbysaudia.com/ , has been designed to enhance the travel experience. Offering all-encompassing packages covering flight bookings, accommodation, transportation, and organized visits to Islamic historical sites. In-flight experiences will be complemented by the provision of Islamic visual, audio, and written content across channels on aircraft screens.

His Excellency Ibrahim Al Omar, Director General of Saudia Group, said: “We are pleased to launch Saudia Hajj and Umrah, a significant stride towards realizing the goals aimed at enriching the pilgrims experience in alignment with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.”

Amer AlKhushail, CEO of Saudia Hajj and Umrah, said: “We are confident in Saudia’s expertise in providing exceptional service to pilgrims all year round, especially during peak seasons. Leveraging this experience, we aim to substantially expand the frequency of flights and the scope of international destinations. This further strengthens our commitment to elevating service, quality, increasing the influx of guests, and consistently introducing innovative offerings that enrich the overall travel experience.”
