India gets new Tourism of Ministry Secretary

INDIA (eTN) – Arvind Mayaram has been appointed the new Secretary in the Ministry of Tourism in India. He succeeds Parvez Dewan, who retires on October 31, 2014.

INDIA (eTN) – Arvind Mayaram has been appointed the new Secretary in the Ministry of Tourism in India. He succeeds Parvez Dewan, who retires on October 31, 2014.

Mr. Mayaram is at present the Secretary in the Finance Ministry and belongs to the 1978 batch Rajasthan cadre of the Indian Administrative Service.

He has a heavy-weight reputation in the bureaucracy with wide experience and is expected to boost tourism in India.
