Hong Kong Airlines will operate seasonal flights to Yonago and Hakodate, upgrade Seoul flight to daily.

From today until February 2024, Hong Kong Airlines will operate seasonal flights to Yonago and Hakodate to meet the high demand for year-end and Lunar New Year travel. Furthermore, starting from December 17th, the airline has increased its frequency of flights to Seoul from four times a week to daily, offering passengers greater flexibility in their travel plans.

The initial departures to Yonago and Hakodate occurred at 7:55 am and 11:30 am, transporting more than 400 travelers to enjoy their winter vacations in these two renowned Japanese locations.

Mr. Jevey Zhang, the Chairman of Hong Kong Airlines, along with the management team, received an invitation to participate in the celebratory event held at Yonago Kitaro Airport.

Yonago Kitaro Airport will offer a dedicated shuttle bus service between the airport and Yonago City on days when flights are operating, ensuring passengers have a convenient and smooth transfer experience in addition to the seasonal flight service.

Hong Kong Airlines marked the occasion by inaugurating its inaugural seasonal route to Hakodate on the very same day, solidifying its position as the sole local carrier providing non-stop flights connecting the two cities.

Hong Kong Airlines’ flights to Seoul have consistently been in high demand and have maintained steady passenger loads. To enhance connectivity between the two destinations, the airline has successfully increased the frequency of this route. Starting from December 17th, the number of flights to Seoul has been expanded to a daily service, replacing the previous four times weekly schedule. This improvement has been made possible with the utilization of the A330-300 wide-body aircraft, which provides over 300 spacious seats. Consequently, more passengers can now benefit from an enhanced and enjoyable flight experience.

Hong Kong Airlines is currently in the process of expanding its flight network by adding new destinations. Throughout the year, the airline has introduced new routes to Beijing Daxing, Fukuoka, Nagoya, Phuket, and Hakodate. Additionally, it has also reinstated flights to various popular locations such as Sanya, Chongqing, Bali, Kumamoto, and Yonago. By resuming seasonal flights to the Maldives in January, the airline will provide service to a total of 25 destinations.
