Arrival is in Nice, the sun-splashed capital of the French Riviera, where accommodations are at the Hotel La Perouse. This beautiful boutique hotel has a pool; overlooks the sea, beach and Promenade des Anglais; and is very near Nice’s famous flower market. To make life easy on the first night, a three-course dinner is provided at a restaurant-with-terrace on the Promenade.des Anglais.

Then there’s a half-day sightseeing tour of Nice, and a half-day tour to Monte Carlo, along the Basse Corniche through Villefranche, Cap Ferrat, and Beaulieu, with stops at the Fragonard perfume factory and the medieval stone village of Eze.
