Originally from Kentucky, Boek fell in love with North Florida during a college internship and jumped at the opportunity to relocate to Amelia Island after graduating from Murray State University with a degree in public relations and marketing. She spent five years as Real Estate Marketing Manager for Amelia Island Plantation before transitioning to Marketing Communications Manager for Omni Amelia Island Resort.
