The seven-member AICVB board unanimously approved Boek’s promotion during its June 27 meeting.

Originally from Kentucky, Boek fell in love with North Florida during a college internship and jumped at the opportunity to relocate to Amelia Island after graduating from Murray State University with a degree in public relations and marketing. She spent five years as Real Estate Marketing Manager for Amelia Island Plantation before transitioning to Marketing Communications Manager for Omni Amelia Island Resort.

The Amelia Island Convention & Visitors Bureau is the official tourism organization for Amelia Island, located in Nassau County, Florida, United States. The bureau’s primary objective is to promote and market Amelia Island as a premier vacation destination for both domestic and international visitors.

They offer details about accommodations, dining options, local events, attractions, and recreational activities. Their website and visitor center are valuable resources for travelers looking to explore Amelia Island.

These platforms offer comprehensive information, travel guides, maps, and itineraries to help visitors make the most of their stay. The bureau also engages in marketing campaigns, participates in travel industry trade shows, and collaborates with local businesses and organizations to promote tourism and enhance the visitor experience.
