Visitors from abroad who will be in Nairobi on Sunday, February 23, will have a great opportunity to attend lively performances starting at noon when Kenya’s Jazz Festival begins.

Participants come, of course, from within Kenya, where jazz has become immensely popular in recent years but also from further abroad as a tentative list of performers just received shows. On stage will be Bona, The Nile Project, Rythm Junks from Belgium, Yuva Cohen from Israel, Aaron Rimbui, Chris Bittok, Eddie Grey, Jacob Asiya, and Kavitha Mwanzia.

The venue for the festival is the Ngong Race Course on Ngong Road in Nairobi.

Tickets will go on sale as of February 10 and can be arranged through the Concierge or Client Relations Desks in all of Nairobi’s leading hotels.

Safaricom will once again be the main sponsor of this now annual event, when Jazz comes to Kenya.
