Corinthia Hotels properties in Malta, Russia, Sudan and Hungary were among the world’s travel elite to receive top honours at the ‘World Travel Awards (WTA) Grand Final Gala Ceremony 2013’ held

Corinthia Hotels properties in Malta, Russia, Sudan and Hungary were among the world’s travel elite to receive top honours at the ‘World Travel Awards (WTA) Grand Final Gala Ceremony 2013’ held in Doha, Qatar, on 30th November.

The Corinthia Palace Hotel & Spa was voted ‘Malta’s Leading Hotel’ for the fifth consecutive year, whereas the Corinthia Hotel St Petersburg was named ‘Russia’s leading Conference Hotel’ for the second year running. The other two awards went to Corinthia Hotel Khartoum as ‘Sudan’s Leading Hotel’ and the exclusive residences within the Corinthia Hotel Budapest as ‘Hungary’s Leading Hotel Residences’.

Celebrating its 20th anniversary and hailed as ‘The Oscars of the Travel Industry’ by the global media, World Travel Awards is acknowledged across the globe as the ultimate travel accolade, and highlights and rewards those travel brands that have made the greatest contribution to the industry over the past year. A packed delegation of VIPs, senior tourism figures and international media travelled from around the globe to attend the event.
