The Mauritius Tourism Promotion Authority (MTPA) was nominated to receive the “Victoires du Tourisme” Award in France.

The Mauritius Tourism Promotion Authority (MTPA) was nominated to receive the “Victoires du Tourisme” Award in France.

This award recognizes the best foreign tourism board in France and is an initiative by the French travel trade magazineLe Quotidien du Tourisme in partnership with BFM Business.

Mauritius is competing with Spain and Ireland for the title. Fifty Tourism industry professionals voted electronically to select Mauritius.

Considering that Spain receives more than 10 million French, Ireland receives more than 360,000 French visitors every year and has been awarded numerous prizes – Mauritius is proud to be recognized.

“Congratulations to this nomination”, said the Mauritius Deputy Prime Minister, Xavier-Luc Duval congratulated MTPA for the nomination.

MPTA looks forward for the final of “Victoires du Tourisme” selection scheduled to be held on June 8 at the Intercontinental Paris Le Grand.
