Rotana will use its stand and other branding initiatives to showcase recent openings across the Middle East, as well as further projects in the pipeline. The company plans to open hotels in Syria, Jordan, and Amman next year and has ongoing projects in Baghdad, Abu Dhabi, and Bahrain.

Rotana has already added a hotel in Iraq to its portfolio, marking it’s recognition of the revival of business tourism to the country.

Rotana chief operating Ooficer Omer Kaddouri said: “Our participation is to increase our presence and support our expansion plans reaching a portfolio of 70 hotels by 2012. This is further supported by branding and sponsorship opportunities such as WTM registration.”

World Travel Market chairman Fiona Jeffery said: “We’re delighted to have Rotana exhibiting again and to see the group building on our partnership by taking advantage of new sponsorship opportunities.”
