Sunwing announced the addition of Cayo Largo in Cuba to its roster of tropical destinations available from Toronto this winter. The tour operator is expected to be the only carrier to offer direct flights between Toronto and Cayo Largo this winter.

With the introduction of the new flight service, which will operate Fridays between December 15, 2017 and April 13, 2018, vacationers departing from Toronto will now be able to choose between eight different destinations, each offering unique and varied experiences to suit all types of travelers.

Just off the southern coast of the Cuban mainland, Cayo Largo is ideal for adventurers, beach lovers and eco-tourists alike. Boasting over 25 km of stunning beaches and 32 diving sites with fascinating coral formations and a wealth of vibrant marine life, the island also has a rich heritage. There are over 200 sunken ships dating back to the 16th and 18th century off the coast, some of which can be explored on diving excursions.
