The country is targeting tier 2 and 3 cities to boost arrivals.

The “Visit Philippines 2015” campaign is being used to increase awareness among the Indians, who have taken to outbound travel in a big way.

During January to February 2015, an impressive rise in arrivals has been recorded.

The Philippines has a strong marketing presence in India in recent years, which has contributed to the growth.
