INDIA (eTN) – The Philippines expects to welcome over 75,000 visitors from India in 2015, up from the 61,000 who went to the see the many attractions of the country in 2014.
The country is targeting tier 2 and 3 cities to boost arrivals.
The “Visit Philippines 2015” campaign is being used to increase awareness among the Indians, who have taken to outbound travel in a big way.
During January to February 2015, an impressive rise in arrivals has been recorded.
The Philippines has a strong marketing presence in India in recent years, which has contributed to the growth.
