Vietravel Airlines, a subsidiary of the tour operator – Viettravel, recently convened a significant meeting with representatives from Kagawa and Fukushima prefectures in Japan.

The primary agenda was to outline a comprehensive strategy to expand flight networks between Vietnam’s key tourist cities and these two Japanese regions.

Nguyen Minh Hai, General Director of Vietravel Airlines, emphasized the meeting’s pivotal role in strengthening ties between the airline and Fukushima and Kagawa prefectures.

Japanese representatives expressed enthusiasm about the proposed flight network expansion, foreseeing numerous customer benefits. They anticipated positive impacts on both nations’ aviation and tourism sectors, citing the popularity of tourist destinations and robust economies in Fukushima and Kagawa.

Established in late 2019, Vietravel Airlines made its inaugural commercial flight on January 25, 2021, marking its position as Southeast Asia’s first travel airline and Vietnam’s fifth commercial carrier.

The airline covers several Vietnamese tourist spots, including Da Nang, Phu Quoc, Nha Trang, Quy Nhon, Da Lat, and Bangkok (Thailand). Additionally, it operates charter flights to destinations in the Republic of Korea, China, and other regions.
