Affordable Turkish Airlines Pegasus Orders 36 New Aircrafts

Pegasus Airlines has signed an agreement with Airbus to acquire 36 new A321neo aircraft as part of its fleet modernization strategy. The airline aims to reduce emissions, save fuel, and lower unit costs. This order is an extension. They initially placed their existing Airbus order in 2012. They have amended it in 2017, 2021, and 2022.

Pegasus expects to deliver the 36 new aircraft, along with their previous orders, by the end of 2029. As a result, Pegasus Airlines’ original order for 100 A320/321neo family aircraft has been expanded to 150 aircraft, with 108 of them being A321neos.

Güliz Öztürk, CEO, stated that this agreement aligns with their commitment. Their commitment is to operational efficiency, financial performance, and sustainability. The addition of the A321neo aircraft will contribute to fleet expansion and modernization.
