Juri Molder, the secretary of Tartu City Council, revealed that following discussions with the airline, the launch date is now expected to be pushed back by three months. This delay, Finnair explained, allows them additional time for comprehensive marketing strategies aimed at mitigating expectations for compensations.

Details concerning flight schedules, including summer timetables, were deliberated during the discussions. Molder expressed optimism about the contract signing, anticipated towards the year’s end, emphasizing that ticket sales hinge upon the formalization of the agreement.
