FCC Authorized US Carrier to Become a New Major Global Airline

Northern Airways

As of Saturday Ravn Alaska has been authorized by the FAA as a new global airline allowed to fly large passenger jets.

Northern Pacific Airways, formerly known as Corvus Airlines is an upcoming low-cost airline based in Anchorage, Alaska, United States, that plans to commence operations in Summer 2023. History The airline also operates inside Alaska under the brand and is the same company as Ravn Alaska.

In a tweet, Ravn Alaska posted: Passed and exceeded all expectations. Ravn Alaska as Northern Pacific Airways is authorized as a global airline flying large jets. So many Thx”

This should bring the airline out of the Las Vegas test mode:

While they originally announced plans to launch flights to Asia, Northern Pacific Airlines decided to start with flights between Los Angeles and Las Vegas.

When asked why they put it simply by saying:

“We want to make sure that we can deliver the best possible service to our customers before expanding to international destinations. By starting with this popular domestic route, we’re able to fine-tune our operations, provide exceptional customer service, and perfect our in-flight amenities.”
