Malta is the perfect family-friendly destination for a summer vacation. Packed with family fun activities and places to explore. Corinthia Hotels’ only resort property, Corinthia Hotel St George’s Bay is gearing up for the busy summer season with two services that will please parents: a free Kids Club and free trial dives.

Families traveling to Malta and staying at the kid’s friendly Corinthia Hotel St. George’s Bay in July and August can book their children – aged 3-12 years– into the Kids Club, a first for the hotel. Open daily from 10am-1pm, it is free of charge and must be booked in advance. Qualified staff will look after a maximum of 15 children during the morning sessions and keep them out of the sun, occupying them with a range of activities.

Malta is known for diving and from mid-June, guests at the hotel aged from eight upwards can take advantage of weekly trial dives with a qualified diving instructor. Taking place every Thursday at 9am in a sister hotel adjacent to St George’s Bay, guests must book 12 hours in advance and be relatively fit to participate in the morning trial dive. Each weekly session by the Diving School will instruct a maximum of 20 people.

These two activities perfectly complement a wide range of leisure activities at the family-friendly Corinthia St George’s Bay. The hotel has a five-pool complex including a quiet children’s-only pool away from the main lido area, a private rocky beach, direct access to the Mediterranean Sea, a range of ten restaurants, poolside dining, the Apollo Day Spa, water sports center and a state-of-the-art fitness center.

Three categories of spacious guest bedrooms – all with private balcony and two double beds – are geared to families: Deluxe Sea View Family, Superior Family and Executive Sea View Family. The hotel is a short walk away from the bars, clubs and restaurants of Paceville for those families with teenagers and young adults.

Malta offers plenty of thrilling activities such as scuba diving, sailing & yachting, Segway tours, rock climbing and horseback riding perfect for families looking for some adventure.

Malta is alive with events, many of which are perfect for the entire family to enjoy: concerts and open-air music events, arts and crafts, sports and activity, exhibitions and shows, feasts and carnivals, and so much more. This year, Valletta, Malta’s Capital and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is being honored as a European Capital of Culture 2018. The 2018 Capital of Culture festivities will be comprised of over 400 events and encompass a yearlong celebration of the culture and history of the island nation of Malta. This adds yet another reason to bring the kids to Malta and stay at Corinthia Hotel St. Georges Bay this summer.
