Amtrak train accident: I’ve never seen anything so devastating

Train 188 was traveling from Washington, DC, to New York City on Tuesday night when it crashed.

The front of the train was going into a turn when it shook.

According to witness’ account, it appears the train went off the tracks.

NTSB is launching a go-team to investigate tonight’s Amtrak accident near Philadelphia. A team will arrive at site in the morning.

Amtrak canceled all service between New York and Philadelphia for Tuesday evening after derailment.
